Unlike line editing or proofreading, developmental editing addresses big-picture elements, such as the clarity of argument, logical flow, and overall organization. It ensures the material engages the intended audience and communicates its message effectively. With a developmental edit, I will take a look at your manuscript top-to-bottom and give advice on plot, themes, characters, and more.
COPYEDITING
With a copyedit, I will revise your writing to improve its clarity, correctness, and readability before publication
BETA READING
Perhaps before you send your publication out you want eyes on it from an experienced reader. A beta reader is someone who reads a completed or near-completed manuscript to give the writer feedback before publication.
